Training Update!

We have been training, training, training and its been exciting and overwhelming all in the same! Each week we go from 6-10 and we have to theme each week. So far we have had different themes of red, white, and blue, space, and bug-a-palooza. Last night the topic was diversity and they are teaching us how to incorporate diversity into our everyday activities with the kids and also how to deal with all of the people that we will meet this summer!

Every training I get so excited for the people I will be meeting and for the things I will be doing this summer!

I just thought I would post some pictures of one of the themed nights. It is of the red, white, and blue and my group went as Uncle Sam.

Here I am in my Uncle Sam outfit! I made my chat out of construction paper and it took forever and it wouldn't even stay on my head!

This is my group! We try each week to go as a group costume so it is more fun! Our group name is Electric Yellow! We also have three vets in our group who are the group leaders and have already experienced camp adventure before!

Also here is a picture of my friend Kristen Mitchell she will be going to Germany this summer! It was her week to preform so I thought I would take some pictures and show you some of the fun things that we do! It is called a Blitz and I will explain more when it is my week to perform!

Until Next Time,
RKB

  1. Hi :) sorry to be a stalker, but I am also in CAMP A and I googled Camp Adventure Okinawa and your blog popped up. I will also be going there this summer, so it's nice to see I have some company who is just as excited as me! Look out Okinawa...here we come!
